    Mittlerweile habe ich mir Gummi-Matten bestellt um Näße und Schmutz in der kalten Jahreszeit vorzubeugen.

    Ich halte es für möglich das wir nach Ablauf der ersten 3 Jahre keine OTA Updates mehr erhalten es sei denn wir schließen einen Wartungvertrag ab samt ESIM Vertrag. Ihr habt doch alle bei Übergabe des Autos nicht nur weiter weiter geklickt sondern auch genau gelesen das ihr einen Mobilfunkvertrag für 3 Jahre akzeptiert. ;)

    Das kennt man ja bereits von Office 365 und co. Daher wundert euch 2023 nicht ;)

    1. What should I do if I have problems with the We Connect ID. app (e.g. vehicle enrollment, We Charge, payment)?

    In these cases, we would like to ask you to send an email to iddirect@volkswagen.de. With the subject line "1st Mover Club" your requests will be prioritized. Please describe your request as detailed as possible and mention the smartphone you are using and its OS version and the version of your app. Furthermore, please mention your VW ID (Email) so that our colleagues can process your request as soon as possible.

    4. What to do if I am not able to lock or unlock the vehicle with the keys?

    There is probability that the vehicle is not able to recognize the key anymore. In order to solve this, take the spare key out of the vehicle key. Open your ID.3 using the spare key. Put your vehicle key into the cup holder compartment and wait for about half a minute. The vehicle should identify your vehicle key.

    Instruction to take the spare key out of the vehicle key:

    Press the release button briefly. The keyring folds open.

    Press the release button and pull the spare key out in the direction of the arrow.

    7. What to do if I am not able to activate the charging column with my We Charge card?

    Please check first if your charging card is linked to your user account and if you have a We Charge plan selected. Please also make sure that you are charging at a charging station from the We Charge network. To do this, please use the filter function in the We Connect ID. app. If the charging station cannot be activated, please deactivate your charging card in the We Connect ID. app and activate it again (We Connect ID. app / We Charge / Charging Cards / ... / Deactivate / Activate). Wait about 1 minute before you start the charging process again. If the charging station still cannot be activated, please contact our customer hotline on 00800 - 43 347 328.

    8. What to do if I cannot access the vehicle´s charging level or air conditioning function via the We Connect ID. app?

    Please, try the following:

    Delete the We Connect ID. app

    Delete the vehicle on the “myVolkswagen” website

    Reset the ID.3 to the factory settings

    Reinstall the We Connect ID. app and connect it to your ID.3

    20. How can I deactivate the Roll-away protection so that I can clean my ID.3 in a car wash tunnel?

    In order to deactivate the roll-away protection, you have to go to “Vehicle”->

    ”Vehicle”->”Exterior”->”Brakes”->”Roll-away protection”. At this point you can either deactivate it immediately or ask the system to do so each time you are in driving mode “N”. To do so, activate “Always ask when N is engaged”.

    When you arrive at the car wash and have positioned your car, all you have to do is engage the driving mode “N”, confirm the deactivation of the roll-away protection in the pop-up window and leave the ignition turned on.

    4. What are the minimum charging requirements regarding the power input?

    For AC charging the minimum power input is about 500W. If the power drops below this level for 60 seconds, the charging process stops.

    9. Can I leave my ID.3 at the airport when I go on vacation or is the battery completely discharged when I return?

    The amount of self-discharge of your HV battery is influenced by many different factors (such as temperatures or state of charge).

    Anyways, within our fleet of testing cars we have experienced between 1 and 2 % of self-discharge per month.

    Please note that these numbers may vary from car to car and cannot be used as a reference value for your individual vehicle!

    13. Information regarding charging issues with zappi chargers.

    We have passed the request to the responsible department in the technical development of Volkswagen. We can assure you that all BEV by Volkswagen comply with the standards including IEC61851-1. Volkswagen BEVs will wake up via “Control Pilot” to restart charging, if the car is in “sleep mode”. We notice though, that even if standards and norms are met, with new technologies sometimes different communication interpretation can occur.

    Therefore, we contacted zappi/myenergi to understand the communication concept of their charger.

    We will continuously improve the interoperability with all existing devices, as soon as we find out, there is a reason to act.

    Also problems with other chargers are brought to our attention and are currently under investigation.

    3. Can I transfer my First Mover credit to another person?

    Once activated, the charging credit is linked to the app user and in particular is no longer transferable to another user’s app.

    Bitte genau folgende Reihenfolge beachten und auf guten LTE Empfang achten


    1. We Connect ID App löschen,

    2. Auf der ID Website in der Garage das Fahrzeug löschen

    3. Fahrzeug in die Werkseinstellungen zurück setzen.

    4. Wie Connect ID App neu installieren und Fahrzeug mit der App verbinden.

    Das VW am Anfang wieder mal gelogen hat, ist doch nicht neu.

    Es hieß zum Beispiel: Beads Audio, volle Hütte (wo ist das DCC?), wo ist die Anhängerkupplung?, Auslieferung im Sommer (die meisten warten jetzt noch) und noch paar Dinge mehr.

    Hab massig Beschwerden geschrieben und und bin von Woche zu Woche vertröstet worden.

    Warte immernoch und diese Woche Freitag soll ich ihn bekommen.

    Im ID.3 Max ist Adaptive Fahrwerksregelung DCC inkl. Fahrprofilauswahl enthalten. Aber nicht im 1St Max.
