Alright. My company ID.4 (with heat pump) was handed over in the Autostadt to a service provider who delivered it to my door. That was in July 2024. The AC was not working and there was a warning on the dashboard. It took 3 dealer visits to get it resolved. There are multiple possibilities for potential leakage of CO2. IIRC TeslaBjörn had the same problem with a press car directly from VW. Several colleagues of mine had similar experiences.
The fix is not refilling CO2 but disassembling the system and find the leakage. For my car it took a full week.
Thanks for the info, unfortunately they just refilled the CO2 and delivered the car just to get the A/C error the next day. I've asked about the leaks and they said it's very hard to identify them as that is a completely new system to them and cannot be checked the same way as old A/C systems. I have a feeling my car will be with the dealer for long time.
